MOUNTAIN VIEW NEEDS YOU!
Mountain View knows the value of parent involvement at school! Our learning environment is richer when parents partner with us, so we have many opportunities for you to help here. Our Parent Faculty Association (PFA) meetings are open to anyone who would like to come. There is always work to be done!
Our School Site Council (SSC) is an advisory council that discusses and makes decisions regarding such things as our Single Plan for Student Achievement. If you would like to be involved in either of these parent groups, please read the school newsletters on the homepage for dates.
Mountain View also has our famous Watch D.O.G.s (Dad's of Great students). These are dads that volunteer for a full day at school. Part of that time is spent helping in the dad's child's classroom and the rest of the day is spent helping in other classes. We appreciate having these positive male role models on campus supporting our students! For more detailed information on Watch D.O.G.s, see our homepage. If you are interested in being a Watch D.O.G. please email Mrs. Coronado at bcoronado@cusd.claremont.edu.
And don't forget you can always check with your child's teacher to see how you can support learning in the classroom!
